On November 16, 2024, AVA launched a CSR initiative targeting road safety and defensive driving, aligning with the World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Road Victims (WDoR). The initiative was created to address the increased road accidents in Miritini area and educate the community on road safety regulations, especially for untrained boda boda riders.
Our partners included AA Driving School, NTSA, Traffic Police, and Equity Afia. Participants were provided with reflectors, arm bands and free medical checks. The event impacted approximately 150 individuals.
Ultimately, we hope to create a safer environment for everyone, reducing the number of accidents and ensuring that all members of our community, including our valued staff, can travel safely and confidently!
