The Covid-19 pandemic resulted in closure of many private schools and an influx of students to public schools. Miritini Primary School has had to accommodate 400 more children without any improvement of facilities. AVA, highly invested in the community, has partnered with the school to resolve the acute shortage of resources. Some of the projects undertaken include supply of benches and tables to ensure comfortable learning. Security at the school has also been enhanced by perimeter sheet metals. We have further furnished the staff room to enable teachers to serve the children comfortably.
