Proactive Skills Transfer. Empowering the Community
We at AVA are determined to curate the wide engineering expertise nurtured through decades of experience and pass it on to the next generation of technicians. To this end, AVA will in 2022 launch a globally benchmarked academy aimed at providing quality, relevant training on skills required for the vehicle assembly industry. The academy will particularly seek to empower Kenyan youth and women by equipping them with market-ready skills. This compliments AVA’s plans for substantial growth which will see more job opportunities created. Currently, AVA runs a training facility which offers intensive technical upskilling to employees as well as capacity building among newly hired engineers to ensure continued excellence in production.
